Story: To me, stars are for wishes. I have a massive one that’s mounted on the side of my home in the country. On many older American barns, particularly German farms, one could see a large decoration in the shape of a star mounted on the face of the barn. According to tradition, tin barn stars are a sign of good luck and great fortune. The tradition of the barn star in America can be traced back to the 1700s.
