Story: Next to thoughtful books and cards, my favorite gifts are handmade items. I think of all the love that went into making them. It's for this reason that I started a little shop called Ecostasy. I sourced from hundreds of artisans and indigenous peoples across Brazil. I was ill during this time, but even still, I knew that I wanted to help people. I sourced beautiful products, but sales were slow. I'm sure it didn't help that I was ill, but I am grateful to have met and supported so many communities. The shop still exists and perhaps a lingering hope that it might still do well.
